Katia Cruz- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Why I love The Book Thief
There are many reasons to love this book. The main reason I love it is that it inspires me. This book is about a girl who is living during nazi times. It gives you a glimpse of how her family survives at the height of Nazi Germany. Now at this time all books are banned except for ones written by Hitler himself however the young girl loves books and she loves to read. So one night when they are burning the books she sneaks and steals a book that is banned and then she sneaks up late at night and reads it. The story continues but I love this book because it inspires me to read no matter the circumstances. Also this book also encourages me not to take things for granted. I should do what I love no matter what.

Jack Fuston- Mark of the Thief- Jennifer A. Nielsen
I love Mark of the Thief because it tells a story of a boy my age who at first thinks of himself as useless. He soon finds a power that helps him become stronger so he can defend his sister Livia. Along the journey he seeks to defend his home country, Rome, from General Radulf. Although he faces danger along the way he becomes more and more powerful.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban- JK Rowling
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is one of my favorite books to read. This book is my favorite to read because I like the adventure and the plot. This book causes Harry to go through many obstacles and it always kept me reading to see what would happen next! One of my favorite things from the book would have to be the the Marauder's Map which helps Harry navigate and see people on his way through Hogwarts so he will not get caught in places he shouldn’t be. In the book he discovers new things and meets new people. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a book that I loved reading because it had happy, exciting, sometimes sad, and scary moments throughout the book. I had fun reading this book and would definitely recommend this book and the Harry Potter series to anybody who likes a fantasy, mystery, adventure, and drama books!
